Ethics applied

I am working for a company named Balcorp, for whom I have had to repeatedly write op. eds. and answer letters published in various papers.  It has been brought to my attention that on three occasions of answering or commenting on-line letters on behalf of this client, I have omitted to state my interest, signing only my name and not identifying myself as an agent of my client.  This is contrary to article 5 of the Canadian Public Relations Code of Ethics. This is clearly a mistake and it was unintentional.  My position for this client is widely known.  I am implementing methodological safeguards to prevent such mistakes in the future.
